About The Heritage Acres Wedding Venue
Heritage Acres is an elegant French country venue with 45 acres of natural beauty, including a tranquil spring-fed pond, stretching rolling hills, and stunning mountain views. Located in Clarksville, Arkansas (45 minutes from Fort Smith and 90 minutes from Little Rock), the venue is privately owned and operated by husband and wife team Cody and Jessie Toups. With two little ones of their own, they know the importance of family heritage and legacy, so they have created this beautiful estate where couples can begin their own family story, starting with a lifelong commitment to love.
Details of the Grounds
The Heritage Acres property is beautiful and expansive, and the crown jewel is the French Country Barn with 30’ ceilings. While the structure itself is rustic, it has several Shabby Chic touches, like elegant chandeliers, wall sconces, and large picture windows that let in plenty of bright light. It’s a lovely location for an intimate indoor ceremony in cooler seasons or in case of inclement weather. Frame your vow renewal in front of the open barn doors, looking out on the rolling hills and distant mountains.
If you’d prefer an outdoor ceremony, there is plenty of space for that, too! Their stately white arches look out on the vast hills and mountains beneath the branches of nearby trees. Your guests will love watching you say “I do,” surrounded by such glorious nature. You can also use the beautiful exterior of the barn as a ceremony backdrop or many other outdoor locations to align with the vision of your perfect wedding!
The Reception & More
For your reception, take things back into the barn for an unforgettable celebration! Add your own unique aesthetic with whichever décor you choose to transform the barn into the wedding of your dreams. You can also take advantage of over 1000 square feet of lofted space encircling the center of the barn for extra seating and a prime location for guests to watch you and your partner dance for the first time as a married couple.
Regarding your guest list, if you only use the main floor for a seated reception with a dance floor, the Heritage Acres barn can accommodate up to 200 guests (330 if standing.) with an extra 100 seated in the lofts, should you choose to use them. The Barn also has a speaker sound system setup for DJs or phone hookups and a full prep kitchen with a stove range, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, and sink.
Additionally, the Bridal Suite is a beautiful, luxury space with lots of bright light and warm accents that is the perfect, comfortable spot for you and your bridal party to prepare for the big day. It’s also ideal for gorgeous getting-ready photos!
Photography Opportunities
The grounds at Heritage Acres are perfect for a variety of stunning photos. Green lawns, lush trees, and beautiful landscaping make beautiful backdrops in late spring and summer. A fall wedding sees the property transform into a golden oasis with a more neutral, natural palette.
The pond, spring, and creek are lovely water features to use in romantic portraits. When we take the photo shoot into The Barn, you’ll fall in love with the way we’ll utilize all of the gorgeous rustic architectural touches for incredible pictures you’ll treasure forever.
Wedding Details
Firstly, Heritage Acres offers a variety of wedding packages depending on your needs and budget, including:
- a la carte weddings,
- Petite Weddings (under 80 guests), and
- even an all-inclusive wedding.
All weddings (except their elopement packages!) include:
- full cleanup of The Barn following your reception,
- aisle runners, centerpieces,
- chairs, dance floors,
- décor, drapery,
- furniture, and tables.
They’ll also help you with chiffon draping in the barn for additional elegance. Additionally, they provide the arbor for an outdoor wedding and up to 180 seats for your ceremony. They do have a list of recommended vendors for your convenience. However, you are welcome to bring your own certified vendors with their approval!
