There are few things that make an impact on a wedding quite like a venue; for an indoor wedding that is a fashionable balance of rustic and industrial elegance with plenty of natural light and gorgeous historical features, Loft 1023 is a fabulous option for a chic Little Rock wedding. Let me tell you a little more about this unique space!
Loft 1023 is a family-owned and operated venue with plenty of versatility and charm. The building was originally the Holt Furniture Company, built over 100 years ago in 1918, and it has been lovingly restored into an “urban event venue” where you can host a chic, stylish wedding. The building itself still has plenty of historic charm, including arched windows, plate glass storefront windows, exposed brick, and plenty of other rustic touches that beautifully contrast with the modern features that have been recently updated. It’s the perfect blend of history and contemporary styles that you’ll be able to totally customize for your perfect wedding day.
Loft 1023 comprises four unique rooms, each with their own individual style and amenities. You can mix and match the rooms based on your needs to accommodate the entirety of your wedding day and whether you plan on using Loft 1023 to host your ceremony, reception, or just one or the other. The venue comfortably and safely accommodates up to 200 people.
The Wood Room is bursting with rustic charm, including gorgeous hardwood floors, wood beam ceilings draped in dreamy organza, and exposed brick walls. Crystal chandeliers bring a touch of elegance, and the original antique windows add charm and plenty of natural light (perfect for photography.)
The Streetside Room is on the lower level of the building, and whereas the Wood Room is all rustic charm, this space exudes industrial elegance. It has reclaimed wood walls, industrial ceilings, and exposed ducts and pipework. You will also find crystal chandeliers and a granite bar perfect for serving beverages, and a cozy lounge area for your guests to enjoy. It also includes access to spacious changing rooms for bridal parties to prepare for the big day.
The Copper Room connects to The Streetside Room and makes a great dance space if you choose to conjoin the two for your wedding! It has a glamorous copper ceiling and chandeliers and a full wall of windows for bright, beautiful pictures. It can also be a great ceremony space for intimate weddings with less than 100 guests.
Lastly, The Urban Room is a totally blank canvas for a customizable wedding. It includes stained concrete floors, a bar and kitchenette, and dedicated restrooms. It also is home to their Bridal Suite. This also makes a great space for a rehearsal dinner or cocktail party!
Loft 1023 has plenty of natural light that is perfect for romantic couple portraits and family photos. There are also some lovely architectural features, like a steel fire door from 1918, that make for charming picture backdrops. If you have your heart set on lovely outdoor photos, we’ll have to wander a bit to find some Little Rock spots. Since this is a fully indoor venue. But we will absolutely make it work!
One of the biggest draws of Loft 1023 is that you are free to use whatever vendors you want to create your own unique event. They do have a brick-and-mortar catering kitchen and their own in-house catering company. But if you’d prefer to use someone else, you are more than welcome to!
They also offer several different event planning packages that allow you to customize your planner’s involvement. From an all-inclusive package perfect for couples who don’t particularly enjoy planning to day-of coordinating that leaves the details up to you. Their team is available to help in any way you’d like.
Loft 1023 is a fabulous spot for a cozy ceremony, a lively reception, or a combination of the two! Visit their website for more information and details. Once you see it in person, let me know what you think! It would be an honor to photograph your wedding at Loft 1023!
